6am here in Paris, the sun seems to just fall past and kiss the horizon and rise again. The weather is absolutely perfect, maybe just a tad bit on the hot side; t-shirt weather for sure. We arrived yesterday morning at around 7am and met up with an old friend from Dublin. On first impressions, Paris is pretty much everything you hear and read about; from the fashion and cafes to the amazingly beautiful women and men cruising the streets on their scooters and in their tiny smart cars (oh, those silly europeans). Every direction you look is like a snapshot out of a high fashion magazine. Besides the architecture, food is the ultimate reason why i’m here and it has definitely not disappointed, I feel like i’m oozing duck butter and coffee out of my pours. Like Japan, the culture here is laid on thick; Hundreds of years stacked and piled on another hundred years with all the transparency to see through to its shining core. Fucking Rad.
A few quick observations:
- The french language is damn sexy.
- French Television is not.
- Moss.
- A lot of corners smell like piss.
- Yes, chinese people live here too.
- 23’00 sunset ~ 05’00 sunrise.
- No diarrhea! (yet)
- A lot of people shoot nikon :)
